Russian teaching grounded in experience, structure, and course design
Arina has been teaching Russian as a Foreign Language since 2011, working with adults, children and teenagers, one-to-one, online, face-to-face, and in group settings.
Her Russian teaching draws on formal teacher training, course design experience, and a long-standing interest in how learners understand, remember, and use language. She has developed programmes for beginner and intermediate learners, prepared students for Russian exams, and taught Russian in corporate settings, including four years with BigWorld Pty Ltd / Wargaming.net in Sydney.
Because Arina has also studied and taught other languages and subjects, including English and art, her approach to Russian is structured but flexible. Lessons can combine language, culture, visual material, interaction, and carefully chosen practice when it supports the learner’s goals.
