Questions before you enquire?

What happens after I send an enquiry?

I’ll read your message carefully and consider the learner’s goals, level, format preferences, and any relevant deadlines. I’ll then reply with a considered next step, which may be a short conversation, a first lesson, or a recommendation about the most suitable kind of support.

What kind of lessons do you offer?

I offer one-to-one English lessons online and, where suitable, in Cambridge. Lessons may focus on general English, professional communication, academic English, writing, exam preparation, or support for school-age learners. I also offer Russian and Art lessons as separate areas of work.

Do you teach online as well as in Cambridge?

Yes. Lessons can be arranged online or, where suitable, in Cambridge. Online lessons are useful for learners outside Cambridge, international students, and people who prefer a more flexible format.

How much does a lesson cost?

Lesson fees depend on the format, focus, and whether lessons are individual, shared, or arranged for an organisation. Please include a little context in your enquiry, and I’ll let you know the relevant options.

I’ve had lessons before and they did not help. Can you still work with me?

Yes, but I would first want to understand what did not work and what you need now. My approach begins with careful analysis rather than repeating a standard lesson format. This helps us identify the right focus, structure, and pace before deciding how to move forward.

Do you work with organisations, schools, or universities?

Yes, I can discuss English lessons or group teaching for organisations, schools, and universities in Cambridge. Please include the number of learners, their approximate level, the purpose of the lessons, and any timing requirements.
